To address Rombola Family Farms’ challenges, Folio3 developed a comprehensive Farm Management and ERP solution. The approach involved leveraging Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Supply Chain and integrating it with Folio3’s Agri-based web and mobile apps. This allowed for a seamless and unified system to support the farm’s operations.
Our team went through a detailed and intensive discovery to try and understand what exactly the client wanted and the problems and challenges that different users would face so that we could build a solution that solved all the issues.
After deciding on user roles and mapping the whole user journey and workflows with the help of storyboards, we designed basic wireframes that would help in building the solution.
With everything else ready, and the client on the same page, we finally deployed a full fledge solution, tailored to the client’s needs and liking.

Project and calculate required acreage. The solution suggests resources and materials based on the historical and actual customer demands. With Machine Learning involved, the forecasts improve over time.

Define your own phases for each crop to organize activities and define dependencies.
Pick from a number of available activity types to create new activities with estimated materials, resources and hours.
Create work orders to put planned activities to execution by allocating available resources and assets.
By merging multiple activities in a single work order based on common resources or assets, optimize your work execution.
As the work order passes though different stages of its execution, the supervisor has the capability to review & approve before it hits financials.
Field workers receive notifications on new work order assignments and use a mobile app to clock-in and out, also record time against activities.
Supervisors can review and report work order progress against a group of field workers. And productivity can be measured in time spent, runs or acreage.
The app supports offline mode and can reliably sync data whenever connection is available.
Perform scouting activities and record observations along with uploading pictures and marking areas on maps to report to the back office.
Data collected can be visualized through self-service BI using PowerBI.
Generate work orders automatically based on the outlying scouting data with pre-defined priorities and assignments.
