Jens Kjær has spent more than two decades in animal health, building his career within Boehringer Ingelheim with a strong focus on swine production and producer needs.
He began by working closely with producers in the U.S., leading the swine division and gaining a practical understanding of how herd health, treatments, and performance are managed on farms. He later moved into broader leadership roles across Europe, overseeing animal health operations across the Nordics and Central and Eastern Europe, including complex and diverse production systems.
In recent years, his work has shifted toward how health and production data come together. In his current role, he focuses on integrated health management, helping bring together data from production, health, and other systems so producers can act on it in real time.
