With one out of every 25 cattle being fed by Cactus Feeders, they produce more than 12 million pounds of beef as well as more than 2 million pounds of pork, which amounts to over 56 million meals every week!
The client wanted to modernize an existing legacy system software that was impacting performance and slowing down their pig farming processes from breeding and gestation to grow-finish. The current system they had was challenging them in the following ways:

Using hand-held devices, the farmers and workers enter data, and the managers manage with break-even calculators.
The solution facilitates the client in easily grading pork sheets, barn sheets, pork group inventory, group mortality, and several other tasks and events.
The solution lets you automate and manage feed orders and samples using FastAPIs.
Additional advanced features help the client manage their shipment settlements, cull sales as well as imports.
The solution added features that enabled the client to account for weaned pig placement, feed transfer export to Net Asset Value (NAV), live haul trucking as well as feed trucking.
It enables farmers to automate data entry and gives them error correction options for animal enrollment, feeding, and farrowing. It also includes research trials and sow treatment history options.
